MicroArt Eyebrows FAQ’s
The answer to these questions applies for MicroArt only. MicroArt is proprietary, unique, and unlike any other permanent or semi-permanent cosmetic treatment in the market today. It was scientifically developed to look natural — and avoid the many unpleasant or dangerous side effects all too common with other forms of permanent makeup or microblading. (50% of MicroArt clients are repairing bad permanent makeup done elsewhere)
Yes, there will be slight redness for an hour or two after the appointment and your brows will look great right away!
STEP 1: The Design
Your technician will go over eyebrow design and color choices with you. Detailed measurements will be taken on your face to ensure that the design is right for you.
STEP 2: Pigmentation
MicroArt Semi Permanent Makeup uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the dermal layers of the skin depositing a mineral-based pigment into the skin.
Individual hairs are precisely layered on the skin creating a completely natural look. This process is interactive with our clients, as you will check the work during the procedure. The eyebrows can be reshaped, darkened or thickened.
STEP 3: The Touch Up
2 weeks after your first appointment, you will return for a touch-up appointment to perfect your MicroArt. The 2nd session is where the fine-tuning happens. This touch-up appointment is included in your price.
Yes. Your technician will review with you the shape and color that you would like to achieve.
Our clients say eyebrow waxing or threading is more painful.
MicroArt uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the outer dermal layers of the skin, therefore discomfort is minimal compared to all permanent makeup of micro-blading. And because our needle does not go as deep in the skin there is no downtime.
We also use a strong medical-grade topical numbing cream.
Arrive at your appointment 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, well rested and relaxed.
If you have a favorite eyebrow color that you would like us to match please bring it or your technician will recommend a color.
You can bring photos of eyebrow shapes that you like us to use as the reference for design.
You can come in with your eyebrows penciled on as you normally wear them or let us design them.
Yes, because of the technique of single hair strokes we provide and fully customize natural real looking brows to you for the most natural look possible.
Not all clients come back for the second appointment especially if they are traveling in. However, we do recommend that all clients get to the second session. In the second appointment if needed we perfect the shape of the brows, we can alter the color, fill in additional hair strokes and apply the second layer of pigment into the skin so that it last longer.
Yes! MicroArt does not create any damage to any of your eyebrow hair including the transplanted hair. Clients that seek our help after getting an eyebrow hair transplant procedure feel that the transplants alone did not provide enough fullness to the eyebrows and they still need enhancing.
No, our procedure is non-invasive and all natural with no harmful chemicals or invasive techniques that would cause hair loss. In fact, for the eyebrows, we have found that in some clients the hair will start growing back in areas where they were thin, once you stop using pencils and powders that might have been damaging to the hair follicles.
The concept is similar though with MicroArt we are truly drawing the strokes on at the size of a single hair because of the customized instruments we use. In result of this MicroArt provides “3D” hair strokes that are the most natural results you will find in the industry, in addition, has no downtime, and will not change colors over time.
Maintenance appointments are optional. If you do not maintain MicroArt, it will completely fade away over time. We suggest that if you want to maintain your eyebrows so that they always look their best plan on scheduling a touch up once a year.
All our work is customized so we can provide a more dramatic look if our clients desire this. However, occasionally additional sessions are required in order to achieve this.
