ABOUT MICROART™ PERMANENT MAKEUP CORRECTION
Permanent makeup removal can not be done safely. However MicroArt conceals & corrects permanent makeup by using colors that are carefully blended to conceal old permanent makeup inks. About half of our work is correcting permanent makeup and its side effects.
MicroArt can greatly improve and correct permanent makeup anywhere on the face or body. Once of the most common, lasting damage from Permanent Makeup is from its colors changing into green, blue, orange. We can camouflage this with custom blended flesh colors if it’s in the wrong place or correct the color by applying a natural color over the permanent makeup.
Another common problem that we see a lot with permanent make us is the design is wrong. This happens due to poor training of permanent makeup artist due to their training only being a few days as well as lack of experience. It’s common for eyebrows to be too thick, too high, too long or just uneven. Eyeliner tends to be way too thick and/or uneven. Another reason for the design being wrong is that over the years the skin stretches or contracts as people age, gain or lose weight. So both the shape can be redesigned, and the color changed, for all forms of Permanent Makeup, Cosmetic Tattooing and Micro Blading. We are sincerely delighted to do this work, as the psychological and emotional benefits of correcting and concealing embarrassing Permanent Makeup will positively transform your confidence and outlook on life.
The MicroArt application takes only an hour per appointment, with no down time. MicroArt clients participate fully in choosing their desired look, shape, and colors. Colors are customized individually for each client, so every MicroArt application is unique to the client’s desires and natural skin tone. So although permanent makeup removal can not be done safely we can fix it for you.
HOW DOES MICROART™ ELIMINATE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF PERMANENT MAKEUP AND MICROBLADING?
MicroArt is a proprietary technology developed by acclaimed Hollywood entrepreneur and former special effects makeup expert Tanya York — with the help of a team of mechanical engineers and cosmetic biochemists.
The goal was to develop a makeup procedure that would look more natural than any form of permanent or semi-permanent makeup and eliminate all side effects. Side effects of other forms of permanent makeup range from short term such as down time, scabbing, bruising and heavy bleeding to the long term side effects such as scarring, inks that change colors on the skin and the shape of the makeup that changes over time due to the skin’s aging process.
MicroArt has eliminated all such side effects through:
- Equipment: Specialized equipment developed by MicroArt for unrivalled precision.
- Clinics: MicroArt procedures are performed in a certified, professional medical office passing regular, stringent County Health Department inspections.
- Products: Special, natural pigments developed that will not change color and are hypoallergenic (safe for your skin).
- Technique: A technique developed over the years to ensure the ideal, custom shape and color is provided to each client
- Technicians: All technicians are personally trained for months, and certified, by Master Micro Artist Tanya York. MicroArt Technicians are not licensed to perform services on Ms. York’s clients until their work is indistinguishable from hers.
There are no other forms of permanent cosmetics like it.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MICROART™ AND PERMANENT MAKEUP
Unlike MicroArt™, permanent makeup is actually a painful tattoo that looks harsh on the skin. Permanent makeup is applied using heavy gauge needles to penetrate deep into the skin causing bleeding, bruising, scabbing, scarring and down time. Permanent makeup uses 1960s technology with tattoo inks that are toxic to the body; its colors are harsh and change over time. So people can end up with blue or orange brows.
Another issue with permanent makeup is that as our skin ages, the permanent tattooed brows start to sag and end up in the wrong place so it actually accentuates the signs of aging. Permanent makeup on the brows can be removed with lasers. This procedure is expensive, painful and often ineffective with side effects like scarring. Permanent makeup artists’ training is not regulated by the state and training, if any, is only a few days at most. Their training, the tattoo inks used and the low tech equipment all contribute to create the harsh look associated with permanent makeup.
The best way to fix permanent make up is with MicroArt™. MicroArt™ can blend custom, skin colored pigment to conceal permanent make up similar to a topical concealer.
MicroArt™, on the other hand, has the most natural results. There is no down time. No bruising. No scabbing, No scarring. Because MicroArt™ technology uses a high quality acupuncture needle that vibrates on the dermal layer of the skin 80 to 100 times per second, the results are precise.
